British rider Ellen Whitaker wins the King’s College Trophy at the International Show Jumping Event – Club de Campo, Madrid, Sunday 24th May 2009
Ms. Whitaker riding “Kanseleier” completed the course faultless in 60.14 seconds to win her second trophy in this edition. She also won the Puissance competition on Friday evening. In second place was the Irish rider Billy Twomey with “Goldex” and in third place, Marion Hugues with “HHS Cashmere”.
Below left, Ms. Whitaker receives her prize from Mrs. Begoña Fry, wife of the founder of King’s College, Dr. Roger Fry CBE, accompanied by pupils from the school.
