The 2010 Leavers’ Event was, once again, a mixture of high emotion, laughter and warm memories of life at King’s College. In many cases outgoing Year 13 students had spent 15 years at the school and strong relationships had been formed during the years since Nursery.
King’s students are hugely supportive of each other and their final event at school demonstrated the strong community bond between them. Tears were shed, but the evening was a great celebration of their time at King’s.
The evening began with drinks in the porch area, followed by short speeches and a photo montage presentation in the Auditorium. Prizes were awarded and every Year 13 student was received and congratulated on stage by the Headmaster.
Afterwards, participants enjoyed an excellent outdoor buffet meal, prepared and served by our catering team. The World Cup also made an appearance! A specially erected giant screen showed Spain’s victory over Portugal.
This was an evening to remember! |
