The lunch to celebrate the establishment of a Bursary at Trinity College , University of Oxford, for students of King’s Group schools

Dr. Roger Fry, President of King’s Group and Founder of King’s College, Madrid, and Sir Ivor Roberts, President of Trinity College, university of Oxford, signed a collaborative agreement in Madrid on 26th February. The aim of this agreement is to strengthen the educational and cultural relations between these two institutions.  The centre-piece of the agreement is the creation of the H.R.H. Infanta Margarita of Spain Scholarship which will allow a student of King’s Group – or of another student from Spain – to study at the University of Oxford.  It is named after the Infanta in recognition of her outstanding contribution to educational and cultural relations between Britain and Spain.

Trinity College, University of Oxford.  Founded in 1555, it is one of the 38 constituent colleges of the University of Oxford.  It offers tuition at undergraduate and postgraduate levels to over 400 students.

King’s College, Madrid and other schools in King’s Group.   King’s College, Madrid, is a British school, founded in Madrid in 1969.  With nearly 2,000 pupils of more than 45 different nationalities, King’s College is now easily the largest British school in Spain, and is the second largest of the 200 British schools that operate in Europe outside of Britain itself.  It heads the group of schools that are part of King’s Group: the British School of Alicante, the British School of Murcia and St. Michael’s College in Tenbury Wells (United Kingdom).
