Dear Parents,  

As you know from the information in the Newsletter, last year we donated 1.000,00 Euros to Nyumbani (Nyumbani.org) and 2.484,28 Euros to Haiti (acogerycompartir.org).We will continue with Nyumbani, Caritas (operation kilo) and Haiti and I would like to inform you of the new charities that we will be supporting this year.

We will be supporting work being carried out in Uganda (an ex teacher of King’s College School, Avril Leech is working with orphanages in Uganda) and the local Cancer Research charity “La Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Puerta de Hierro.”  

Our School Council supported the World Wildlife fund and is working towards helping to fund a school in Bangladesh.  I am sure you will agree that all of these charities are very worthwhile so we look forward to your support throughout the coming year.
