Christopher Leech MBE, MA, appointed CEO of King's Group
Christopher Leech has a degree in modern languages from the University of Cambridge and brings to his new post a solid background in education, spanning over 40 years.
In the early days he taught in independent schools in the UK until he was appointed Headmaster of St George’s College, Argentina in 1980. In 1986 he was appointed Headmaster of the Sir James Henderson British School of Milan, and stayed there for 10 years.
Although new to the post of CEO, Christopher Leech is no newcomer to King's Group itself, having been Headmaster at the flagship school, King's College Madrid, from 1997 to his retirement in 2005, when he took on the role of Academic Coordinator for the King's Group Schools.
In 2006 he was decorated by HM Queen Elizabeth II, being awarded the MBE for services to education in Spain.
